Education in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)

From 26 to 28 September 2025. In Lipik Spa, a three-day professional education in the DNS method - Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (module B) was held, which was attended by physiotherapists from Croatia and Serbia.

A total of 15 physiotherapists participated in the training - five each from the Lipik Spa, the Special Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Novi Sad and the Special Rehabilitation Hospital "Junaković" from Apatin. After completing the training, all participants received official certificates confirming their ability to apply the DNS method in daily therapeutic work with patients.

The education was organized as part of the RE-TREAD project: Improvement of health care for the elderly and people with disabilities in the cross-border area, in which partners: Toplice Lipik, Special Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases Novi Sad, Special Hospital for Rehabilitation "Junaković" Apatin and Development Agency PANORA participate.

The goal of the project is to ensure better quality and more accessible health care for the elderly and people with disabilities through cross-border cooperation, procurement of innovative equipment, education of professional staff and development of new therapeutic approaches.

The RE-TREAD project lasts until March 2027, and its total value is 1.44 million euros, of which 85% is financed by the European Union through the Interreg IPA cross-border cooperation program Croatia-Serbia 2021-2027.

In addition to education, the project also includes the establishment of mobile teams and the development of a digital platform to support patients and their families.
