DNS training in the RE-TREAD project

As part of the RE-TREAD cross-border project, co-financed by the Interreg IPA cross-border cooperation program Croatia-Serbia 2021-2027, the first training module was successfully held in Lipik Spa. The three-day module A course for the DNS method (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) gathered 15 physiotherapists from three partner special hospitals: Special Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases Novi Sad (Serbia), Special Hospital for Rehabilitation "Junaković", Apatin (Serbia) and Toplice Lipik - Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation (Croatia).

The participants, through theoretical and practical work, gained knowledge about the modern DNS therapeutic method and successfully completed the training. Lipik Spa, as the host of this important event, confirmed its irreplaceable role in the project.

The training was contracted by PANORA - the Development Agency of the Požega-Slavonska County, the project partner responsible for the technical implementation of project activities and the promotion of health and a healthy lifestyle.

Future activities

The remaining two DNS modules (B and C) will be held during September and December of this year in Lipik Spa. Also planned for autumn is training on the application of the Scroth method at the Special Hospital "Junaković" in Apatin - a specialized therapy for people with spinal deformities, which will be organized by the leading partner in the project, the Special Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases Novi Sad.
